Any question? Any question?
April - 2020. I was in Onancock with a Nikon F3P, April - 2020. I was in Onancock with a Nikon F3P, a roll of Kodak Tri-X, and time. The street was empty, I wandered downtown in search of. And encountered this gentleman in the window. He and the lady in the background were passing the day, he asked how I was doing. And I knew that we would be ok because in spite of the shouting and ugly words, people still have a need to connect, a need to understand the world around them. We spoke briefly, I asked to capture a portrait, he obliged. And I was off on my way and richer for the pleasure of another person met, another story heard.
As we say farewell to 2020, let’s promise ourselves to sit in windows, smile easily, laugh with our eyes, and indulge the occasional stranger that wants to take our portrait and hear our story.
Spinning a goodbye to 2020. Spinning a goodbye to 2020.
